Twin sisters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush reveal that they haven't celebrated all of their birthdays together.

Barbara joined Jenna on the Monday, March 24, episode of Today with Jenna and Friends. During the “Social Dilemmas” segment, the pair shared that Jenna once opted for a solo birthday party.

One viewer, also a twin, submitted a question and asked the 43-year-old sisters for advice on how to tell her sister she didn’t want to have a joint birthday party.

“This one hits a little close to home,” Jenna began before telling Barbara to take it away.

“We’re twins also and my sissy had a party herself,” Barbara said. “If she had told me about it, I would have been very supportive."

Jenna chimed in to clarify that Barbara was pregnant at the time. “Okay, but you had a baby, and the baby was supposed to come right around the time the party happened, so I didn’t want to stir your mind with thoughts as petty as..."

Barbara then jumped in to add, “Well, when you have all the same friends, word gets out.”

“I would say you have other friends, too,” Jenna replied.

“I would say for this sister, you treat your sister like a friend, and you say, ‘I love you. I’m thinking of having my own party. I’d love for you to come and let’s celebrate me,’ ” Barbara then proposed to the viewer.

Jenna then joked, “Now, did you put this question into the Social Dilemmas?”

“Yes, I wrote it under an alias,” Barbara quipped back. “We worked some things out.”

“I think you did,” Jenna agreed. “Next time, I’ll do just that.”

The two are the only children of former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura Bush.

Although Jenna and Barabra didn’t co-host that birthday party together, they often speak about their bond as twins. Jenna previously told PEOPLE at an event for the Creator Book Club, that there is so much in life that she may not have attempted to do if she didn’t have Barabra by her side.

“I don't think I'd have this job [as Today co-host]. I don't know [that] I would've started this book club. She makes me feel brave and empowered, because she was my first audience,” Jenna told PEOPLE.

“She was the first hand I held. And so I always felt supported, even when we were teens, and we threw shoes at each other's head," the Today co-host said.
